I am cranky. Went to the crawfish festival and ate some crawfish as well as alligator and shrimp (which is a big thing for me cuz I don't eat seafood). Well, there's a reason I don't eat it cuz about 2 horus later when I finally got home I ended up puking it all up. Yay $20 lunch down the drain. I give up. Every time I eat seafood I get riotously sick. There's no damn point anymore.

Talked to the folks and decided I do want them to come down for graduation. They are coming, so coolness.

The continuing musty saga of my bedroom:
-When the tail end of Katrina hit us giving us bad thunderstorms, my bedroom wall was wet to the touch. I thought nothing of it.
-Life went on for months and months, then when we had all those tornados 2 weeks back, the hole/leak in the wall must've gotten bigger.
-Cuz, when it monsooned last thursday my windowsill was covered in water and the guy below me had standing water, so the maintenance folks have caulked the inside and are fixing the outside tomorrow morning but all the towels I have soaking up the water are musty stinky.

Conclusion: My bedroom smells gross!

This is how it works:
Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, then give letters to those who want to play along.

Noodles: The one food in all the world that I live on. They are my favorite thing to eat in any way shape or form. Noodlehead also happens to be one of my nicknames, cuz my hair looks remarkably like ramen noodles. Thank you Bobby for that observation.

Negative: The band I am listening to right now. A lovely band from glorious Finland, the country that brought us HIM and The Rasmus.

North: Where I am from. I am a Northerner or as Bridgette has taken to calling me, a Damn Yankee. I must observe that the north is also the land of snow and cold and ice and the North Pole is the home of Santa Claus, bringer of CHRISTMAS!!

Nineteen: The number of consecutive years I will have been in school when come May the sixth I graduate with my master's degree. That's almost two straight decades of school.

Nerd: Please refer to the above 19 years of school for clarification. I am a self-avowed library nerd and now a museum nerd. I heart school and books and *gasp* essay tests.

Nightmare: I am the queen of them. Easily creeped out and since I live alone, not a big fan of them. Thus no scary movies for me. Also, Nightmare Before Christmas is Tim Burton's best movie and is it happens my favorite singer Ville Valo's favorite movie. Plus it combines the wonderfulness of Christmas with Halloween and songs!

Naive: I could also be called oblivious, ditzy or dumb. I am inexperienced and unworldly, wide-eyed and innocent.

Neil: Gaiman. Best damn author ever. American Gods, Anansi Boys, Neverwhere, Stardust, the Sandman(though I've not read the whole series)is enough said.

Nutella: God's gift to condiments. Chocolate and hazelnut. Mmmmmmm.

Neptune: Home sweet dorm home. The last dorm I lived in at college. One of my favorite places on earth and the source of Neptune hot chocolate made by the now graduated Tom. My favorite treat ever.

Thank you Michelle for persuading her to give me a nice letter!

I finally got over my unhappy tummy and made supper. However, I cooked too much and went to put leftovers in tupperware only to discover that all my tupperware is currently in the back of the fridge housing mystery food. Yuck! I need to clean.
